These Terms of Service govern your use of the HOUSE OF OCHRE online store and your purchase of products from us. By accessing the store or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products and services.

Online store use

You may use this store only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use our content or products in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.

Product information

We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colors, and images accurately. Colors and scale may appear differently depending on screen settings and room context. Natural or production-related variation may occur within the tolerances described on the product page. Product availability and specifications may change without notice.

Orders

Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, inability to deliver, or violation of these terms. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled portion.

Standard orders can be cancelled before shipment, including during photo review. Cancelling custom colours or non-standard sizes before shipment incurs a US$100 materials fee, subject to applicable consumer law. Once dispatched, orders cannot be directly cancelled; the return policy applies. To request an order change or cancellation, email service@houseofochre.com. Prices, payment, and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. You agree to provide current and accurate purchase, billing, and account information. For shipments to the United States, Canada, and Australia, applicable import duties and taxes associated with normal delivery are included in the purchase price. Any pricing error may be corrected before fulfillment, in which case we will give you the option to confirm or cancel the affected order.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy form part of these terms. Estimated total production and delivery time is approximately 2–3 weeks. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Before shipment, we send finished-painting photos and offer revisions until you are satisfied. We ship after approval, or if all 3 emails remain unanswered after the 3-day review period starting with the first photo email. Replies and requested revisions are handled under the review process in our Shipping Policy. Photo review and revisions may extend the estimated delivery time.

Intellectual property

The website design, branding, text, graphics, photographs, artwork presentations, and other content supplied by HOUSE OF OCHRE are owned by us or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchase of a physical product does not transfer copyright or grant a right to reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from the artwork or store content.

Third-party services and links

Parts of the store may rely on Shopify, payment processors, carriers, analytics providers, or other third parties. Third-party sites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content that we do not control.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the store and its content are provided on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HOUSE OF OCHRE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the store or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. These limits do not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are published, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing rules

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the business operating HOUSE OF OCHRE and the transaction, without limiting any mandatory protections available to consumers in their place of residence.
